ANNUAL VACCINATION AGAINST EQUINE INFLUENZA

Equine influenza is a highly contagious viral disease with worldwide distribution. This disease can cause severe respiratory conditions in weak horses, signs such as abundant nasal discharge, recurrent coughing conditions and general weakness. Mortality is not high like other viral diseases and recovery is relatively fast. Currently, the equine national vaccination schedule includes the influenza vaccine at least once a year.
