GROWING WITH BOEHRINGER INGELHEIM / LAUNCH OF THE INCUBA PROGRAM

Invetsa, a leading Peruvian company with 25 years of experience in the livestock industry, together with Boehringer Ingelheim, one of the leading companies in the animal sector worldwide, developed an important event for the poultry sector, called: “Growing with Boehringer Ingelheim”.

This event, whose objective was to publicize the German company Boehringer Ingelheim, was held consecutively in Trujillo, on August 8 at the Hotel Casa Andina; in Huacho, on August 10 at the Kajaca Suit Hotel; and in Lima, on August 11 at the Westin Hotel. The person in charge of doing it was Sandra Velásquez, responsible for the avian area for the Andean region of Boehringer Ingelheim, who said that they are number two in the global and avian scale, and number one in pets, pigs and horses; emphasizing the commitment to animal and human health that the German company has.

Then, Dr. Ángel Salazar, incubation consultant and poultry professional, made his presentation, who spoke about the “Quality of the Baby Chick” and how it is measured, in addition to the factors that affect its quality, and about the prioritization of the objective focus on it. Subsequently, Dr. Ana Jove, in charge of Invetsa’s technical services, spoke about the new service of the Peruvian company: “INCUBA”, which began with the “Protecting with Invetsa” contest, and which has the objective of optimizing productive results of its clients, ensuring immunological integrity. After that, the coffee break was held for the crowded audience of the three cities.

When resuming the talks, Dr. Luz Patricia Urrea, MV of poultry technical services, Colombian, spoke about the “Critical Control Points in Slaughter Plants”. In the same way, Dr. Francisco Rojo, external consultant, spoke about the “Integral Control of Gumboro”.

To end these significant talks, it was the turn of Dr. Eliana Icochea, from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, who gave a lecture on the “Update on the Control of Hepatitis by Inclusion Bodies”. Consecutively, the speakers met to answer questions from the public, which were resolved satisfactorily.

Concluding the event, in the three cities, a show was offered to the public and a closing cocktail was held that was to the liking of all the guests.
