LATIN AMERICAN VETERINARY CONFERENCE 2017

From April 4 to 7, as every year, the Latin American Veterinary Conference (LAVC) was held, one of the most important and largest events in the line of pets in the country, hosting approximately 1,200 attendees.

Invetsa participated in stand X1, exhibiting products and information from its main representatives, before veterinarians, zootechnicians and students. Similarly, she gave mini talks at the stand, which were: “The best flavor for effective antiparasitic protection” on Wednesday 5, by Dr. Joaquín Barros (Boehringer Ingelheim); “Diagnostic advantages when using rapid ELISA tests” on Thursday 6, by Dr. Silvia León (IDEXX); and “Pre and probiotics: Uses in the feeding of dogs and cats” on Friday 7, by Dr. Marta Hervera (Vetnil).

Additionally, keynote talks were held, such as: “Cytology in the clinic” in the Muñiz room, with Dr. Guillermo Couto DVM (Internal Medicine, Oncology) on Tuesday 4; “Challenges of the immunization of puppies” in the Muñiz room, by Dr. Fernanda Ambrosino (Boehringer Inhelheim) on Wednesday 5; “Nutritional management of environmental allergies” in the Bolognesi room, by Dr. Raúl García-Barros (Latam Professional Vet Affairs Manager, Hill’s Pet Nutrition) on Thursday 6; “Uses and functions of Omega 3 for dogs and cats” in the Muñiz room, by Dr. Marta Hervera (BVSc, PHD in Animal Nutrition, DECVCN) on Friday 7.
