It is advice on pig farming from the slaughter plant, with permanent observations of a significant number of pigs per company, evaluating the health condition of the respiratory system of each animal, to obtain information that allows anticipating the presence in the field of pathologies that affect the zootechnical performance of the farm.
The MPS program has evaluated more than one million pigs throughout Latin America.
MANAGEMENT OF THE PREVENTION – INFECTION CHAIN
It is a joint effort with Boehringer Ingelheim, on farms with significant health problems.
The objective of this service is to help the producer in establishing an adequate acclimatization program for their piglets.
AUDIT AND TRAINING IN VACCINATION
An annual audit is carried out on those clients who use our vaccines.
This service consists of making a visit to the farm where the entire process is verified, from the arrival of the vaccine, until the bottles are eliminated.
Finally, with the results, a staff training is carried out on the opportunities for improvement.
OPTIMAL TIME FOR VACCINATION AGAINST SWINE CHOLERA
Through serology against Hog Cholera (PPC), we determine the optimal moment for the application of this vaccine. Our results indicate that the ideal timing of vaccination can vary significantly from farm to farm.
